A range of discussions take place every week and with the new regular time slot of 11.30am-2.00pm in the Hall means there is plenty of room and pop-up stalls from organisations to raise awareness of support services available to LCiL members.
Now in December 2016 we can get up to 100 people attending every week.
Here are the thoughts of some regular attendees to the weekly sessions:
Andy Williams says, “Social Media Cafes provide a great and friendly environment for sharing and learning. Not everyone uses computers and to have good, old-fashioned, face-to-face conversations with people can be of great benefit to all concerned. It is certainly what I have found!”
Andy Mutha says, “Mental or physical disability alongside culture or ethnicity finds no stigma at the Social Media Café This allows the only true integrated networking social group I know of in Leicester Leicestershire or Rutland.”
Everyone is welcome to attend this free weekly session.
